Hi there! Here's a few details about BASELINE!
The club was first set up by me in 1991 as The Andre Agassi Fan Club and has continued to support Andre Agassi since that time. It was Andre's original UK fan club and I have worked alongside his official fan clubs when these have operated. Unfortunately, there is no official paper-based fan club for him at this time.
The club is designed to support Andre in his tennis and all he does. It is also there to provide members with comprehensive, accurate and detailed information on his tennis as well as his non-tennis activities. It has been set up with the full knowledge of Andre and his management team and he is sent a copy of each newsletter.
I run this club because I not only enjoy watching Andre's tennis but also because I am fascinated by and admire the person he is. He is a complex character with simple ideals and one who's often, especially in the past, wrongly portrayed in the media. Because of this, I strive to get the newsletters as detailed and accurate as I can make them.
I am not salaried and receive no financial assistance and I run the club in my spare time. This enables me to put 100% of your membership fee into the club. I draw no personal expenses.
The club is participative, lively and friendly and I hope I can persuade you to join. Tell you what, if you don't like your first newsletter, return it to me and I'll send you your money back!

For your membership fee, you will receive a membership pack which includes your membership card, Andre's Player Bio, Match History, Past Year Review, Media info sheet, a copy of the Club Goods List, details of back issues of the magazine, plus a photograph or two. You will also receive the first of your Baseline magazines.
Your membership fee also entitles you to five newsletters - or 'magazines' as they get called! Four issues cover the build up to each of the four Grand Slam events as well as the Slam itself. The fifth is a special Year End/Christmas issue.
The magazines are A4 format and range from 28-44 pages in length. Each issue comes with it's own full colour A4 poster page. The magazines cover details of Andre's matches, including some full match descriptions, scores and quotes from press conferences together with background information about the tournaments he plays. There are details of his TV appearances and features about 'Andre the man' and his charitable Foundation. Also included are magazine, newspaper, website, book and video reviews, news of goods and photos for sale as well as members letters and details of pen friends. The articles may be written by myself, other members or tennis writers and journalists. In fact, it's always really difficult to pack everything in!
The magazine is illustrated with clear, up to date photos of Andre as well as some great retro pictures. It also features my own drawings.
For those fans who are also collectors of Agassi Memorabilia, you will be kept up to date on what photographs are available from the best tennis photographers from the UK, USA, Australia, France, Austria and Germany. There are colour photocopies and special club goods to buy. And, for those real enthusiastic collectors, there's the 'Connoisseurs List' which I produce. This list contains thousands of items, all with an Andre theme, including; posters, magazines, postcards, badges, key rings, photographs, newspapers, lots more photocopies, etc.
